In recent weeks, SERIS France and SERIS Konsalnet (Poland) have illustrated this ambition through two strong and committed initiatives.
SERIS France: testing the future of fire safety in real conditions
At the Safran Aircraft Engines plant in Villaroche (77), SERIS France organised a morning demonstration of the Avenger Fire fire-fighting robot, developed by SCOPEX and ICP NewTech - Ultimate Solutions.
The aim was to show site teams, industrial firefighters and representatives from SDIS 27 the capabilities of this robot in an operational environment. Avenger Fire demonstrated its full potential in support of human intervention, with remote control, obstacle clearance and action as close as possible to the flames.
In addition to the technology involved, the morning session provided an opportunity to discuss how robotic solutions can be integrated into the response chain, without ever replacing the safety of the men and women in the field, but always enhancing it.
SERIS Konsalnet (Poland): running for those who fight every day
On 24 May, the Group's Polish subsidiary, SERIS Konsalnet, took part in the BIEGFIRMOWY.pl charity run for the seventh year running.
Twenty employees took part via the event's application to cover symbolic kilometres. The funds raised will go to the Fondation Everest, which supports children in need of care, rehabilitation or adapted equipment.
In a sector where vigilance is required at all times, this commitment to sport and solidarity is a reminder that safety also means being able to support the most vulnerable.
