SERIS, the leading French independent security group, announce that, on 1st June 2018, they finalised the acquisition of the airport security activities of Brink’s France. This takeover brings the Group’s personnel in France to more than 10,000 employees, and will enable it to surpass the €300 million barrier and set a new goal to reach €320 million in 2018.
The family group announce that it has finalised the takeover of the company Brink’s Security Services (Trademark Brink’s Airport), a subsidiary of Brink France specialising in airport security, after consultation with staff representatives and with the authorisation of the Competition Authority.
Present in the airport market for more than 30 years, Brink’s Security Services now employs more than 1400 people and achieved a turnover of close to 70 million Euros in 2017. It provides control operations within the most important French airports, including Roissy Charles De Gaulle, Lyon, Toulouse, Nice, Lille and Pointe-A-Pitre.
The Group, chaired by Guy Tempereau, has been present within the French airport security market since 2012 through its subsidiary SERIS Airport. By this acquisition, SERIS reaffirms its strong ambitions in this area and, more widely, its long-term development strategy in France and abroad.
